All orders require a legal name, a full address using only alphanumeric characters, and a full phone number in case either UPS or FedEx has to contact you regarding your package.
Domestic orders are usually delivered within 3-7 business days from the day your order leaves our facility. International orders can take up to 5 weeks for delivery.
All orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx if we are shipping to a Domestic P.O. Box, we will ship the order using FedEx Super Saver Shipping (Listed as P.O. Box Shipping ONLY at checkout).
Bad Dragon Ships Discreetly
All orders are shipped in a plain, unmarked recyclable brown cardboard box.
We seal our toys in a protective plastic bag with our logo before they’re wrapped in tissue paper and packaged with recyclable packing paper.
The shipping label will identify the shipper as “Jan Mulders” rather than Bad Dragon.
Unless required by international customs regulations, our company name and logo is not displayed on the box itself.
Bad Dragon maybe required to provide a description of contents for every international shipment regardless of destination. Some labels may include the phrase "silicone sculpture and personal lubricant"
If your order is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, missing apartment number, nobody available to receive the package, etc. we will contact you by email that was used to place the order.
The shipping method only applies when your order leaves the facility and does not expedite your order at any stage during the order fulfillment process.
Bad Dragon is unable to provide shipping holds once orders are complete. Once your order is complete and Ready to Ship, we will ship your order as soon as possible.
It's recommended that all customers sign up for either UPS My Choice or FedEx Delivery Manager to ensure the most accurate delivery estimates and the ability to provide further instructions regarding your package. International Customers may need to provide additional information to UPS or FedEx to enroll in these programs.
International Shipping
Legal names are required for every international order. Failure to provide this information may cause the package to be delayed or refused for delivery.
We do not ship to international P.O. Boxes.
Bad Dragon requires all customers who wish to ship to a Military or Diplomatic Mail Address (APO, DPO, and FPO) to contact customer service prior to your order. This is to ensure that we are able to ship it out per your request. We are unable to ship to International Military Bases.
Due to international requirements, Bad Dragon may be visible on the customs declaration form attached to the package.
Customs declaration form requires an itemized list of what the package contain with brief descriptions of each item (sometimes referred to as a 'commodity description' or 'harmonized sale code') and they will be the following if applicable:
Our Toys are declared as "silicone sculptures."
All our Lubricant is declared as "personal lubricant."
Other Goods (accessories, t-shirts, lanyards, etc.) are declared with appropriate harmonized sale codes for the type of item being shipped. This is to ensure accurate calculations for duties and taxes and prevent issues with customs.
Bad Dragon complies with all international shipping regulations and cannot falsify customs documents for any reason. This includes (but is not limited to) declaring orders as gifts, marking them at a lower cost than they are valued, or misrepresenting our product in order to incur lesser customs fees.
All international orders require duties, taxes, and or customs fees for the packages.
Bad Dragon now works with a partner to calculate and collect duties, taxes and fees when you place your order. The total amount due will be shown as a line item in your shopping cart.
Note: Orders placed before July 21, 2022 did not have their duties, taxes and fees collected in advance. That is the date we rolled out support for this feature.
The amount due for duties, taxes and fees will vary depending on the subtotal amount on your order, the country it is being shipped to and the shipping carrier selected. The de minimus threshold specified by each country is what is used to determine if duty and tax are required on your shipment.
Import taxes are calculated per-item and are based on both the harmonized sale classification and the tax rates in your country.
We guarantee that the amount you're paying us (the "landed cost") is accurate and that you will receive no additional charges when your package is delivered or after delivery. If you are being asked to pay for customs fees after placing your order, please see the notes below.
In rare circumstances we will be unable to collect duty and tax on your behalf. If this is the case you will see $0 for duty, taxes and fees in your shopping cart or order history. This is due to technical problems outside of our control. If we have not collected any duty and tax from you, customs will collect it from you instead of us.
If you are being asked to pay for customs fees and you have already paid us for those (this will be shown in your order history) please contact us immediately and we will do everything we can to assist in clearing your package through customs. This is an error on the part of the shipping carrier or customs in the destination country. We are still working towards a permanent solution to this problem, and we thank you for your patience.
Import laws and regulations vary. Some countries require an additional brokerage fee (separate from duty, tax and fees from the shipping carriers), or the use of a third-party customs broker, in order for your package to clear customs.
If you wish to see a detailed breakdown of the duties, taxes and fees on your order, please contact us and we're happy to provide that to you. This breakdown will include precise amounts, percentages and the de-minimus structure for your order as it relates to your country's import rules.
If you have not already placed an order with us, please include a list of items you would like to order and your shipping address so we can produce an accurate estimate for you.
Customers no longer need to supply any information (e.g. EU IOSS or UK VAT numbers) for their packages to clear customs. We are now handling that on your behalf.
If customs or the shipping carrier ask you for this information before they are willing to clear your package, please contact us and we will intervene on your behalf.
Country-specific notes:
EU countries - Sometimes our IOSS information is not being passed onto to the shipping carrier of your choice, and you will be contacted by a brokerage agent in your country to remit duty and tax. If this happens to you, please contact us and we will reach out to the shipping carrier on your behalf to get your packaged cleared.
Australia - By Australian tax law, if we import more than 75,000 AUD of our products into the country we are required to collect Goods and Services Tax and remit that to the Australia Taxation Office once per quarter. GST is collected both on the items in your order and on the cost of postage. More information here.
New Zealand - By New Zealand tax law, if we import more than 60,000 NZ of our products into the country we are required to collect Goods and Services Tax and remit that to New Zealand Inland Revenue once per quarter. GST is collected both on the items in your order and on the shipping fee. More information here.
Due to the nature of our products and Some countries' customs will not accept our goods at all, or will take the opportunity to abuse or otherwise mistreat the package. A note to our customers in Italy, Spain, South Korea and Mexico:
We are unable to ship any orders containing Cum Lube or syringes to your country. Any orders that include a toy with the Cumtube feature will not receive a complimentary syringe or bottle of Lube included. We are unable to offer a replacement incentive for these complimentary items.
Any orders containing the particular accessories of lube or syringes will not be fulfilled and the items that are prohibited will be refunded.
Any orders to Spain containing Cum Lube, Syringes and Toy Cleaner will not be fulfilled and the items that are prohibited will be refunded.
